History of Garage Door Pros LLC

Keith, Garage Door Pros Owner, started working on garage doors way back in the day at a little company in Medina, OH. He serviced residential garage doors for six years with that small company. That’s where Keith really learned the ins and outs of garage door installation and maintenance. While working there, Keith also consulted customers on what service they need and what repairs they might need. From those converstations, he was able to start quoting out work.

After working with that company for several years he started with another where the focus was on commercial services for garage doors. This was a kind of different animal compared to servicing residential garage doors. With commercial garage doors you're working with bigger job sites, bigger doors, more liability, and heavier equipment. You have to take a lot of safety precautions. On the service side for commercial, you’re also dealing with more contractors, with companies, with property managers, which is a different level of service as well. 

Back in 2006, Keith decided to form Garage Door Pros. He wanted to branch off and do it all himself, while being able to service people in a different way. Since starting the company, our love of garage doors is still there and we are still helping the people of Ohio make sure that their garage doors are in the best shape. Preventative maintenance is really key with garage doors to make sure that you can have it last long time.
