What is broken in my garage?

Most commonly, we find that the torsion springs are what need repaired when we receive a service call. Sometimes we see broken cables, but it's not as common.

Fixing torsion springs is a really easy fix, we just need to go in and replace it. In fact, we keep torsion springs, unless it's a special order spring, in stock on our trucks in case we're close and provide a quick fix. If you do have a custom spring requirement, we're able to order those and replace them for you. 

When Garage Door Pros comes out to replace your torsion spring we'll also check your entire garage door for any faults.

While we examine your garage door, we'll check the mechanical factors like your opener, cables, springs, and then we'll look at the aesthetic - are there breaks, bends, dents, or anything else that can be repaired.

If you have aesthetic issues with less than two panels broken, we can provide panels to fix the dents. If you have two or more, we'll want to replace the door.

If during our inspection we find that your garage door opener is the problem, we can offer you some assistance there, too. It's commonly believed that if your garage opener is broken you just need to go out and buy a new one. That is not the case. 

Any garage door or garage door opener is repairable depending on the age. If the garage door has been taken care of, and received routine maintenance we should be able to repair it.
